What is a renewal/pre-pay letter?

A renewal/pre-pay letter is sent to all active customers in our database that received lawn care or tree/shrub services in the previous year.  It contains an outline of services scheduled for your property for the upcoming season as well as a promotional offer for the upcoming season.  You may choose to take advantage of the promotion before the deadline or you can just use the letter as a review of services.

What determines what services are on the renewal/pre-pay letter?

The services are determined by the lawn care and tree/shrub services that were received in the previous season.  For example, if you received 4 lawn fertilizations, a grub control, lime, and two flea/tick applications in 2016, then these are the services scheduled for you in 2017.  If you started the lawn care program late in the season (i.e. you signed up with us in July and started at round 3), then we have added the spring applications so you will receive a complete program.  The tree/shrub program is also determined by services received the previous season.

Do I have to pre-pay?

No.  You do not have to pre-pay.

What is the deadline for pre-payment?

The deadline for pre-payment this year is February 22, 2017.

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.  We do not accept American Express.

How do I take advantage of the pre-pay offer?

To take advantage of the pre-pay offer you can complete the remittance stub at the bottom of your renewal/pre-pay letter and mail back to our office or you can click here to pre-pay by credit card or here to pre-pay by check.

My budget does not allow me to pre-pay this year—are there other ways I can save money?

Yes!  We also offer an AutoPay option.  With this option, your credit card will automatically be charged after each round is performed.  We offer a 3% discount for this option.  You can sign up for this option by clicking here.

We also offer a $50 referral discount for any accounts that you refer to us that sign up for a lawn care program.  Please call the office for more details on this program or click HERE.

What happens if I do nothing?

If you do nothing, the services listed on the letter will automatically renew and you will be billed as services are performed.

I would like to confirm that I want services, but do not want to pre-pay.  How can I do this?

There are two ways you can confirm without pre-payment.  The first is to return the remittance stub at the bottom of the renewal/pre-pay letter and check the box that states “Yes! Bill me as services are performed”.  The second is to click here and choose “Bill me as services are performed.”

What should I do if I have not received a renewal/pre-pay letter?

If you have not received a renewal/pre-pay letter by January 31, 2017, please email kcole@gatsbygrounds.com or call the office at 978-582-1594.  If you choose to email, please include your name and service address.  Please note, if there is an outstanding balance on your account for the previous season, your account will not be renewed and letter sent until all monies have been paid.

There are some services listed for 2017 that I do not want, what should I do?

If there are services listed that you do not wish to receive, please email kcole@gatsbygrounds.com or call the office at 978-582-1594.  We can promptly adjust the account and generate a new letter.  If you choose to email, please include your name, service address, and changes you would like made to the account.

There are services I am interested in for 2017, but they are not listed on my letter, what should I do?

If there are other services you are interested in for the upcoming season, please email kcole@gatsbygrounds.com or call the office at 978-582-1594.  If you choose to email, please include your name, service address, and a list of services you are interested in.  If a site visit/quotation is needed, we will place you on our spring list to come out and quote the work as soon as the snow melts.  If it is something as simple as adding grub control, lime, or an additional fertilizer, we can promptly adjust he account and generate a new letter.  Please note that most lawn care services and tree/care services are eligible for the 5% pre-pay discount, but other services such as hydroseeding and pruning are not.

My question isn’t answered here.  What is the best way to contact someone?

You should email kcole@gatsbygrounds.com or call the office at 978-582-1594.  During the winter, office hours are reduced, so please email for the fastest response.  If you reach voicemail when calling the office, please leave your name, service address, and phone number.  The voicemail will be checked on a daily basis Monday through Friday.

Will I get another reminder before the pre-pay deadline?

If you “Like” us on Facebook, we will be posting reminders as the pre-pay deadline approaches. Click here to return to our homepage and click on the Facebook icon to log into your account.  We do not send out a second mailing.  Please note that service is continuous, so if you do nothing, we will be out in the spring to start services.  The deadline is only for the pre-pay offer.  If you wish to change or discontinue services, you must contact us at 978-582-1594 or email kcole@gatsbygrounds.com.
